What is Muslim?

A person who accepts an Islamic way of life and believes in the Shahadah (the declaration of faith containing the basic creed of Islam) is referred to as a Muslim. Anybody, regardless of gender, race, country, colour, or social or economic standing, can convert to Islam or remain a Muslim.

What does Muslim Mean?

Muslim means “one who willfully submits (to God).” Bacteria, plants, animals, mountains, rivers, planets, etc. All creatures are considered “Muslims” in Islam. This is because everything testifies to the glory of the Creator and submits to His holy command.

Islam is a comprehensive way of life as well as a religion. Muslims practice a faith that is peaceful, forgiving, and merciful; aggression against the defenseless should not be connected to their beliefs.
