Surah Quraish Benefits
Introduction
Surah Quraish Despite having just four verses (ayat), Surah 106 of Al Quran al Kareem is highly significant in the Quran. It is under the Meccan chapter category. This indicates that it was revealed before the Hijra Nabawiyya, or the journey from Mecca to Medina, taken by Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and his Muslim companions.
Surah Quraish Meaning
The Arab trading tribe known as the Quraish or Quraish lived and ruled Mecca and the Kaaba. Because they are mentioned in the first verse of the surah and were meant as a message, it was named “Quraish”. Banu Hashim The Quraysh tribe is the tribe where Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born. Muhammad (pbuh) faced fierce opposition from the Quraysh until 630 AD, when they converted to Islam. The Quraysh are specifically mentioned in this Surah and they are urged to serve Allah SWT.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍ إِۦلَٰفِهِمۡ رِحۡلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيۡفِ فَلۡيَعۡبُدُواْ رَبَّ هَٰذَا ٱلۡبَيۡتِ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٖ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنۡ خَوۡفِۭ

For the accustomed security of the Quraysh –
Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer –
Let them worship the Lord of this House,

Why was Surah Quraish revealed?
For their own sake, it urges the Quraysh Tribe, who ruled over Mecca, to serve Allah SWT, who protected them.
Surah Quraish Benefits
It exhorts the people of Quraysh to worship Allah SWT so that He may guard them throughout their commercial journeys, which fed them after starvation and shielded them after fear.
The preceding surah, al-Fil, is linked with Surah Quraysh, which serves as a reminder of Allah’s blessings upon the Quraysh by showing them how to defeat an army of elephants sent to harm them.
The Quraysh relied heavily on the Kaaba, a pilgrimage site that attracted significant trade and prestige, for their survival.
After narrating how Allah spared the Kaaba from destruction in Surah Al-Fil, Surah Quraysh addresses Allah as the Kaaba’s Lord, deserving of their worship.
